- Introduction
Stagely is committed to promoting gender equality within the organization and in the wider theatre sector.
2. Analysis of the Current Situation
Gender representation data: As a startup we currently have a very small team of freelancers, and sub-contractors. We currently do not collect data from these employees
Gender pay gap analysis: We
Work-life balance policies: Stagely will offer flexible working arrangements, parental leave, and childcare support to promote work-life balance for all employees.
Recruitment and promotion procedures: Stagely's recruitment and promotion procedures are designed to be free from gender bias and promote equal opportunities.
Training and development opportunities: Stagely will provide training and development programs to support the career advancement of women.
3. Objectives and Actions
Objective 1: Increase the representation of women in leadership positions within Stagely by 50% by 1/1/2025.
Action 1: Implement unconscious bias training for all staff involved in recruitment and promotion decisions.
Objective 2: Create a framework for collecting and recording GEP by 1/12/2025.
Action 1: Ensure selection of freelance staff and contractors embodies our commitment to gender equality
Action 2: Ensure transparency in salary ranges for all positions.
4. Monitoring and Evaluation
Indicators:
Percentage of women in leadership positions.
Gender pay gap.
Employee satisfaction with work-life balance policies.
Monitoring and evaluation: Stagely will monitor and evaluate its GEP annually, reporting on progress towards its objectives.
5. Dissemination and Communication
Internal communication: Stagely will communicate its GEP to all staff through [communication channels, e.g., company meetings, intranet, email].
External communication: Stagely will publish its GEP on its website and share it with partners, funders, and the wider theatre community.
